		August 14, 2006 - Hike to the Walleralm It was a misty, cloudy and rainy day. I parked my car near Bärnstatt in Scheffau (818 m). From there I went to the Steiner Hochalm (1257 m). When I got there, it really started raining and I decided to turn left and to take the path through the forest to the Walleralm (1170 m). From the Walleralm I descended to the Hintersteiner See (892 m) and back to Bärnstatt.
		August 15, 2006 - Hike to the Scheffauer Luckily the weather had changed since the day before. Just like yesterday, I parked my car near Bärnstatt in Scheffau (818 m). From there I went again to the Steiner Hochalm (1257 m). Then I continued straight up to the Scheffauer (2111 m), the first summit above 2000 m starting from the left in the Wilder Kaiser. When I got at the top, I took the same path back down.
		August 16, 2006 - Hike to the Stripsenjochhaus The walk of today was not so difficult, but was still nice to do because of the nice views. I parked my car near the Griesner Alm in Griesenau and went up to the Stripsenjochhaus (1580 m). During this walk you have a nice view on the north side of the Ellmauer Tor. From the Stripsenjochhaus, you can look right into the Kaisertal and the Kaiserbachtal. The Stripenjochhaus is very popular amongst hikers since it's the starting point for many tours in the Wilder Kaiser and in the Zahmer Kaiser.
		August 17, 2006 - Hike to the Grosser Rettenstein and Spiessnägel The goal of this day: the Grosser Rettenstein (2362 m). I parked my car in Aschau a bit futher than the Oberlandhutte on 1011 m. From there I went to the Sonnwendalm, the Schöntalalm (1600 m), the Schöntal Quelle (1796 m) and from there straight to the top of the Grosser Rettenstein (2362 m). When descending from the Grosser Rettenstein, I didn't take the same path back, but I turned left and went in the direction of the Rettensteinjoch (1929 m). From the Rettensteinjoch I continued over a beautiful ridge to the Spiessnägel (1881 m). From that summit, I descended to the Hirzeckalm (1600 m) and the via the Grundalm back to my car.
